Generate a Floor Plan From Your Brief

Turn a written brief into a labelled floor plan with AI.

Generated 2D floor plan with labelled rooms and dimension lines

Example prompt

Three-bedroom single-storey house, about 140 square metres, open-plan kitchen and living area, a utility room off the garage, and a covered patio at the back.

What the floor plan generator gives you

A labelled starting layout from a few lines of text, without a blank page.

  • AI-generated 2D floor plan with each room outlined and labelled

    Rooms from a written list

Name the bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and living areas you need, plus a rough total area, and the model arranges them into one plan with room labels.

  • Black-and-white plan of a three-bedroom house with a two-car garage, room sizes in feet

    Reword and regenerate

The result is an image, not an editable drawing. To change a room, adjust the brief and generate again; the credit cost shows before every run.

  • Bedroom plan labelled 176 sq ft / 16.4 sq m, with wall lengths in feet and metres

    Metric or imperial

Write areas in square metres or square feet. Dimension lines in the image are approximate, so check any figure before relying on it.

  • The same layout shown as a furnished 3D cutaway view

    From layout to 3D

Upload a generated plan to floor plan to 3D and get the same layout back as an isometric 3D-style image.

  • House, apartment and office plans shown side by side

    Built for real project types

Works for whole houses down to single rooms. For more focused prompts, try the apartment floor plan and kitchen floor plan generators, which come with their own examples.

How the floor plan generator works

  1. Describe the space

Pick Room, House or Custom, then list the rooms, approximate area, and any notes on adjacency or orientation. Example briefs are there if you need a start.

  2. Choose a style and model

Technical is selected by default, with five other styles beside it. Pick a model and Basic (1K) or High (2K) quality; the credit cost updates on the button.

  3. Generate and review

The plan usually appears in 20–40 seconds. Open it full size, and find it again under History when you are signed in.

Whole houses and single rooms. Pages with their own examples cover apartments and kitchens.

Yes — use sketch to floor plan to upload a hand-drawn layout or photo (PNG or JPG, up to 10MB). Upload tools need purchased credits.

Export is not available yet. Plans are saved to your account and shown in the browser; PNG, PDF and DXF export are planned, and this answer will say so plainly when they ship.
