AI 3D Generator: Image or Sketch to 3D Model (Planned)

Upload a reference — a product photo, a furniture shot, a sketch of a fitting — and get a textured 3D mesh to open in the software you already use. Mesh generation is still in build; this page previews the planned tool.

What the AI 3D generator is planned to do

For the objects that fill a space, not just the shell around them.

  • Product photo of a three-seat fabric sofa on a white background

Photo or sketch as the source

A clean product photo will work, and so will a drawn concept. The clearer the silhouette in the reference, the more predictable the mesh should be.

  • Overhead furnished cutaway of a single-storey home with its garden and pool

    Fits the interiors workflow

Once it ships, model the furniture and fittings here, then plan the space they go in with the floor plan designer or view it through floor plan to 3D.

  • Formats the rest of your pipeline reads

Planned formats: GLB for web and AR viewers, FBX for DCC and game engines, STL when the model is going to a printer. None of them export yet.

  • Control the mesh density

You will set a face count so the result matches its destination — heavier for a hero render, lighter for something that has to load in a browser or run in a scene.

  • PBR materials on request

Physically based materials are planned alongside the geometry, so the model responds sensibly to lighting instead of arriving flat.

How AI 3D generation will work

  1. Upload a reference

Drop in a photo or a sketch of the object you want modelled.

  2. Set the output

You will choose an export format, a face count, and whether PBR materials should be generated.

  3. Generate and open

Once the converter ships, the generation runs and the mesh comes back in the format you selected.

The planned input is a PNG or JPG up to 10MB — a photograph of the object, or a drawn sketch of it. A clear, uncluttered silhouette should give the most predictable result.

GLB, FBX and STL are the planned formats: GLB for web and AR viewers, FBX for game engines and 3D packages, STL for printing. None of them are live yet.

Physically based rendering materials describe a surface by properties such as roughness and metalness rather than by a fixed appearance, so the model reacts to lighting the way the real material would.

It sets how many polygons the mesh contains. More faces hold more detail and produce a larger file; fewer faces load and render faster, which matters in a browser or a game scene.

This tool is aimed at objects. For a building shell, start from a layout and use floor plan to 3D instead.

Mesh generation is not switched on yet, so nothing is charged for it. Credits apply only to the image tools that are live.

Mesh generation is not live yet. Floor plan to 3D already turns a 2D plan into a furnished isometric image — a picture, not a model.
